Efficio
is a procurement consulting business based in London. Its clients are
blue chip international organisations and portfolio companies of private
equity houses. Efficio effects sizeable profit improvements and fundamentally
improve procurement performance for the long term for its clients.
Corven provided start-up equity capital for Efficio and exited its investment some three years later by way of a private share sale. Corven has subsequently worked with Efficio as a consulting partner.
Caterham Cars
Caterham
Cars is one of the world’s leading motorsport and niche sports car
businesses. It produces the Caterham Seven, a road and race car which
is raced in 20 dedicated championships in 11countries globally.
Corven led the equity consortium to finance a management buy-in transaction and provided development capital. The MBI team have implemented a major change programme that has transformed Caterham into a streamlined and scalable business. This included significant changes to the production process, product portfolio and supply chain management.
Brompton Bicycle
Brompton
Bicycle designs and manufactures folding bicycles under the Brompton brand.
Its products are particularly popular with commuters and are sold all
over the world. Brompton has undergone a change programme that has modernised
its factory, organisational design and positioned the business for volume-led
growth.
Corven has made an equity investment into Brompton as part of a wider shareholder restructuring.
