Corven Ventures is a principal investment company. We seek to invest into private UK businesses to generate capital gains over the medium term. Corven invests its own capital alongside private and institutional co-investors and management teams.

We look to invest in situations where we believe our financial, strategic and operational expertise will benefit the investee business, thereby leveraging the skills and experience of Corven’s consulting and corporate finance businesses. In addition to this, our extensive operational and professional network allows us to introduce management talent and capability where required.

We have an opportunistic approach to investment. Our key investment criteria are as follows:

• Minimum operating profit of £1 million within two years of investment
• UK headquartered and majority UK operations
• Investment range of £250,000 - £25 million equity (with co-investment partners)
• Our focus is on businesses operating in or related to the following sectors: value-add process industries, oil & gas, mining, utilities, financial services and business services. We do not invest in software, biotechnology or the retail sectors.
