Francois Austin

François AustinFrançois is a Founding Director of Corven Group, accountable for delivering major consultancy assignments with FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients.

With 20 years consultancy experience, François has focused on translating business strategies and ideas into demonstrable results. He specialises in the areas of business strategy, post merger integration, performance improvement, risk management and leadership development.

François has led a number of change improvement programmes working at board level within the Natural Resources, Utilities and Financial Services sectors.

François has lived in London, Paris, Rotterdam and the US, equipping him with a deep understanding of, and varied perspective on, the challenges that face the leadership teams of global organisations.

François has contributed to various management books, including The Discipline of Market Leaders (Michael Treacy & Fred Wiersema), Surfing on the Edge of Chaos (Richard Pascale, Mark Millemann & Linda Gioja) and has co-authored Strategic Thinking in Tactical Times and How to Run a Bank. He is also a frequent conference speaker and commentator in the press.

Prior to Corven, François was at CSC Index focusing on large change programmes and was a faculty member of CSC Index's Research and Advisory Services. His consulting career started with Cleveland Consulting Associates, a supply chain-consulting firm based in Cleveland, Ohio.

François holds a double honours degree in economics and economic history.
