Continuous improvement and engagement

Challenge

  • To deliver 30% efficiency improvements within three years.

Approach

  • The Corven programme, known as PaceSetter, consisted of two strands; a leadership strand and an operational management strand

Results

  • Management and leadership have been equipped to meet the continuing challenge, and front-line staff feel part of the action
  • The Office of Government Commerce (OGC) carried out an independent review of PaceSetter and identified Corven’s Performance Improvement Events as best practice.

“The PaceSetter programme has been so successful that we have adopted it as the approach to change across the whole of the organisation”
